Daela-Play Holidays offers screen free, engaging and inclusive experiences that help children build:

Confidence, Creativity, Emotional intelligence, Well-being, and a sense of Belonging.

Our programme combines:

Wellness, Mindfulness, Movement, Creative arts, Enrichment, and Social connection through fun & meaningful experiences.

Each child will receive:

Outdoor Excursion Day

A special nature-based experience including:

Guided nature walk
Mindfulness activities

June Holidays Programme features an excursion to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Other excursions:

Beach trips, Clay Cafe, Total Ninja, Ice Skating, Arcade, Cool Runnings, Mini Golf

Children should bring:

✔ Hat & sunscreen

✔ Comfortable clothes

✔ Walking shoes

For this June Holiday programme, we are keeping an eye on obstacle courses and Kirstenbosch outings.

What ages is the programme for?

June Holidays Programme is for ages 11-13.

Are there other programmes?

Yes. We focus on different age groups (8-18) throughout the year

Are meals included?

We do provide some snacks/water / juice during breaks. It is highly recommended that children bring their own packed lunches and extra snacks.

Are activities supervised?

Yes, all activities are supervised.

Is the programme suitable for neurodiverse children?

We aim to create inclusive and supportive experiences. Please contact us directly to discuss your child’s needs.

Can my child attend selected days only?

Yes, daily bookings are available depending on availability.

What happens during the excursion?

Children participate in guided outdoor activities and nature-based enrichment experiences.

Can I chaperone?

Parents/ Guardians are welcome to chaperone. Please chat to us.

Is transport provided?

For ages 16 and under, transport is not provided.

Please note: A portion of selected programme fees goes toward creating subsidised enrichment opportunities for communities and families requiring financial support.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to programme planning, staffing, venue bookings, and material preparation, cancellations made less than 7 days before the programme start date are non-refundable.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the programme may qualify for a partial refund.

No refunds will be issued once the programme has commenced.
